The Anniversary Golf Tournament
The anniversary golf tournament attracted 120 golfers who, despite an initial shower of rain, eagerly teed off. The tournament started with a shotgun start. For a little hunger pang during the tournament, there were two refreshment stations with small delicacies that our kitchen had conjured up for the tournament participants. After the tournament, all participants gathered on the cosy country inn terrace. There, they could exchange stories about their tournament experiences over a flying buffet of delicious canapés. Even our country inn classic “Piglet Race in the Empire” was available in a delicious miniature version.
At the awards ceremony, the top performers of the coveted tournament categories were duly honoured, presented with prizes from the Remer family, and heartily applauded by the other golfers.
In the Gross category, we congratulate Christin Schröder and Sofie-Karoline Kunze on 1st place, and Karsten and Theo Kreßmann on 2nd place.
In the Net Class A HCP up to 50.3 category, we congratulate the 1st place winners: Florian Disson and Jörg Remer, and the 2nd place winners: Katrin and Rüdiger Dubbert.
Our warmest congratulations also go to all other winners in the other categories.
Evening event with emotions, dance and a fiery performance
At the subsequent evening event in Rademacher's festival barn, the achievements of the Remer family and Golfpark Strelasund were lauded by various companions, politicians, and business leaders. For example, the Minister of Economic Affairs from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Dr. Wolfgang Blank, the Member of the Bundestag for the constituency of Vorpommern-Rügen, Vorpommern-Greifswald, Georg Günther, and the Mayor of the municipality of Süderholz, Alexander Benkert, highlighted the economic importance for the region. Afterwards, there was a sumptuous, delicious, and varied buffet with live stations, cold and hot buffets, both sweet and savoury, which left no desires unfulfilled and made it difficult to choose. A creative station by Golfpark Strelasund provided a creative break, allowing guests to immortalise themselves imaginatively under the motto „Golf Ball“. A large collage is to be created from the resulting small works of art as a memento of this day and this anniversary, which is intended to spark viewers' curiosity.
The band “Fortunate Fools” and DJ Thomas took turns ensuring a lively atmosphere and a full dance floor until late into the night. Later on, things got really hot again. Our guests were able to admire a spectacular fire show by the “Rethra Feuercrew” from Neubrandenburg in the open-air experience garden. There were many “ohs” and “ahs” and shouts for encores. The lively celebration went on well past midnight. The dance floor was on fire, and the atmosphere couldn't have been better.
Fundraising campaign in celebration of the anniversary
For their anniversary, Golfpark Strelasund asked for donations instead of gifts. The anniversary fundraising campaign for the ASB's Wünschewagen MV project was a complete success and demonstrated the guests' generosity.
