Do I need special equipment for FlingGolf?
Yes, you need a FlingStick, a racket specifically designed for this sport, which is similar to a golf club but has a small basket at the end of the racket, into which the ball is placed for slinging. Do I need to complete a course before playing FlingGolf?
Yes, before your first game on our golf course, you have to do a short Introductory course complete. This course will teach you the basics of FlingGolf and how to move safely around the golf course. You will receive a certificate entitling you to play FlingGolf at our course at any time.
How many players can play FlingGolf at the same time?
As a rule, there are always four people in a group. Any other group sizes must be agreed on a case-by-case basis.

What are the rules for playing FlingGolf at Golfpark Strelasund?
All you need for FlingGolf is a FlingStick and a golf ball.
Using the FlingStick, you'll launch the ball from the tee and aim to get as far down the fairway as possible. The number of throws will be counted and recorded on your scorecard.
In the bunker (sand trap) With a penalty stroke, the ball may be taken out of the bunker and dropped a maximum of 5 paces from the edge of the bunker, not nearer the hole. Afterwards, rake the bunker.
In a water hazard or if your ball is lost (yellow and red stakes): With a penalty stroke, a new ball may be taken and dropped within a maximum of five paces from where the ball entered the water or was last seen (but not nearer to the hole).
In the biotope (yellow and red stakes with green caps): Entry is strictly forbidden. You may not enter the biotope, even to retrieve your ball. The water rule applies.
If the ball is out of bounds (white posts, wire fences with white tops, the edge of the road on the course side): With a penalty stroke, the ball is played again from its original spot.
On the green: The ball must be putted towards the hole with the flat side of the FlingStick. No more throwing here.
