Footgolf is a A fun sport, which is suitable for families, groups, companies or associations. It is a combination of Football and Golf. You don’t need any golfing experience to play, though. Footgolf is played with your feet and a football on a standard Golf course into suitably large holes. The aim is to get the ball into the hole with as few shots as possible.

Both football golf and Footgolf combine golf and football to create a modern, trending sport. However, there are some differences: In Footgolf is usually played on a classic golf course and is subject to fixed, international rules. Football golf is, on the other hand, more geared towards leisure. It can be played on a variety of courses and often features different types of obstacles.

At Golfpark Strelasund, footgolf is played on the Strelasund Golf Course - Island Course played. To ensure safety, the golf course will be closed to golfers. A tee time must be booked in advance. At Golfpark Strelasund, there is the option of an 18-hole footgolf round or a 27-hole footgolf round. You will need for playing a Ball, optionally one handcart and ordinary footwear without studs. As you will be given a briefing, we would ask that you at least 10 minutes before the start of the match You report to our reception. Balls and trolleys can be hired from our reception for a fee. You are also welcome to buy or pre-order drinks to fill the trolley.

Yes, there are a few rules to follow in footgolf too:
1. Each player must use a ball that is clearly identifiable by its colour or markings.
2. The ball must be played in a single movement, and every touch counts as a shot.
3. The ball may only be played when it is at rest and on the ground. If the ball is moved by the wind or other players, play continues from the spot where it comes to rest. 
4. The ball is teed up between the tee markers and may be placed anywhere within that area. The player who has the “honour” of starting the hole determines the order of play. On the following holes, the player with the best score from the previous hole goes first. The player with the second-best score goes second, and so on. Once all players have taken their shots, the player whose ball is furthest from the hole takes the next shot.
5. As a general rule, the ball must be played from where it lies. However, certain obstacles may be removed, and if the ball is in the way of other players, it must be marked with a ball marker (which we will provide) and may be picked up.
6. If a ball is played into a water or out-of-bounds hazard, it is placed at the spot where it last "touched" the regular playing field. In either case, however, the player incurs a penalty stroke.
7. Play continues until all players have holed their balls. The total number of strokes is recorded on the scorecard.
8. Fair play is paramount. The winner is the one who requires the fewest strokes over 18 or 27 holes.
9. Please note that studded shoes are not permitted on the footgolf course!
